Lynn Kurland's When I Fall In Love
He cursed again. Damnation, but this wasn’t what he’d wanted. He’d just managed to escape a keep full of wenches; he certainly hadn’t intended to find himself saddled with another one so soon. He had a roof to repair, then a future to contemplate, a future he was sure held such delights as sitting in his great chair before the fire, turning in fat, grumbling about the fare, and complaining about the rain that made his knees ache. He didn’t want the distraction of a woman who was so mesmerizing that he couldn’t looks away from her even when he knew he should.

Q. How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?

My reading habits have drastically changed since I was a teen! It took everything I had as a teen to just read a book for a class assignment. I very much detested reading. I actually only started reading like I do now about two years ago when I moved back in with my mom and dad right after my divorce. My mom forced books on me then and I’m thankful she did because I’d be lost without them today. It almost feels like I’ve been reading them since I was a teen.

Amelia Grey's A Gentleman Never Tells

Gabrielle huffed in exasperation. “Why are you laughing? You are being most unkind when all I was trying to do was please you.”

Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).

The very first romance book I had ever read is the book that has changed my life the most and helped me through my divorce and becoming a single mom. It was Lynn Kurland's With Every Breath. I was in a not so fun and unhappy place and my mother, who had tried for years to get me to read, shoved this book into my hands and pretty much forced me to read it. And since then I have become what my friends call the "crazy book lady". It may sound a little weird but I don't know where I'd be with out my books. I'm not much of a writer but I'm even giving it a shot and writing my own book.
